Fiji accepts right-hand drive vehicles from the UK and has an established vehicle import process through Suva port. The country's remote Pacific location means longer transit times are typical for sea freight from the UK.
UK Car Source coordinates vehicle exports to Fiji including documentation preparation, sea freight routing via Pacific shipping services and comprehensive logistics support.

Port Guide
Suva Port (King's Wharf and Walu Bay) is the main vehicle import port. Lautoka Port on the west coast is a secondary option, useful for vehicles destined for Nadi and the western tourism corridor. Both ports have standard container facilities — RoRo is not regularly available to Fiji.
Transit from the UK routes via Australia (Sydney or Auckland) or via transhipment hubs in Singapore or Auckland — budget 6–8 weeks for sea transit. FRCA clearance typically takes 7–14 working days. A port agent is recommended to navigate local customs requirements. Parts supply is best for Toyota; Land Rover and Range Rover parts are available through a local dealer but with limited stock — factor this into model selection.
Local Market Advice
Fiji drives on the left — RHD vehicles from the UK are ideal. Road conditions outside Suva and Nadi are poor — 4WD vehicles are strongly preferred and far easier to sell. The cane farming and tourism industries drive demand for Hilux, Land Cruiser 70, and Patrol above all other models. Suva and Nadi have a small but growing prestige market.
Range Rover Sport and Defender are aspirational among the business community. Transit routing via Australia adds weeks to delivery — factor this clearly into buyer timelines and expectations. The 5-year age limit for petrol/diesel vehicles means only recent UK pre-owned stock is viable. Avoid unusual specifications or left-hand drive — they cannot be registered in Fiji.
